A chocolate candy recipe for your holiday celebrations

La Sierra University Advancement Data Analyst Jamel Brown and his wife, Sarai, share this scrumptious holiday candy recipe–enjoy!

Peppermint Bark

4 cups of dark chocolate
2 cups of vanilla white chocolate
4-6 drops of peppermint essential oil
2 crushed peppermint candy canes
  • Spray long baking dish with non-stick oil
  • Melt dark chocolate in a bowl and spread into baking dish
  • Melt white chocolate in a bowl then add peppermint essential oil
  • Pour white chocolate into dark chocolate and swirl around with a spatula
  • Add crushed candy canes to the top
  • Place into fridge/freezer until they are firm and then cut into pieces
